On 25 May 2018, Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the (EU) Council of 27 April 2016, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) enters into force. In connection with the new regulations, with the security of our customers’ data in mind, we inform about the rules of processing your personal data by us. The purposes for which we process your personal data depend on our legal relationship with you, and we describe these issues in our Privacy Policy. Within our team we understand that privacy is an important value. We understand it as a right to respect one’s personal data, and control over information about one. It is also a right that we have, to contact you at such times, and in such manners as we see fit. Personal data of citizens of the European Union, and hence Poland, is subject to special protection.
eSIGN respects all the entitlements of our Customers. The European legislator decided to regulate the issues of personal data protection and privacy by introducing the GDPR. In eSIGN, we have made every effort to fully comply with the new regulations, and we are open to any suggestions as to the correctness of our actions. We have created a position of the Inspector for the Protection of Personal Data in our company. The inspector’s responsibility is to control whether we comply with all rules related to the protection of personal data. He will be happy to answer, while maintaining confidentiality, all questions of our customers. eSIGN strictly observes the applicable legislation. Our company is fully transparent – we show clearly what data we process, pursuant to what laws, and what rights our customers have in this respect (whic is described in detail in the Privacy Policy). We meet and fully the expectations and decisions of our customers regarding the data processed by us. We try to explain all issues related to personal data in a simple and transparent way. In the Privacy Policy we inform, among others, about: the legal grounds, and purposes and methods of processing personal data, the period of processing and categories of data recipients, the rights of data subjects, including the right of access to personal data, its rectification (including updating), the right to object, the right to with draw consent – provided that data processing is based on its granting, as well as about other rights and the manner of contacting us for their exercising. We take measures to ensure the full privacy of our Customers, which is also reflected in the fact that you have the right to opt out of direct contact with eSIGN. We want to be able to call and write you, to offer products and services that we hope will be of interest to you, and tailored to your needs – but if you make a different choice, we will of course respect it. Those Customers who have expressed objections will also be able to use our services in a manner adapted to their expectations.
